Yesterday at the Class 5 State Championship at George Mason University, the Riverside Rams Swim Teams finished 5th (Boys) and 14th (Girls).  It was a fantastic meet and a great conclusion for the Rams in our first year in Class 5.  The Boys Team finished with 151 points -- one point behind 4th place finisher, Rock Ridge, and 2 points ahead of 6th place Albermarle.  The Girls Team scored 79 points, finishing 15 points behind J.R. Tucker.   As usual, the Rams displayed the ultimate sportsmanship and team spirit, and the team's energy throughout the meet was electric.  The crowd with energized and Rams's swimmers regularly received the most boisterous welcomes to their events.   Rams swimmers finished in the top 8 in the following events: Boys 200 Medley Relay (7) - Robert Quan, Chris Kopac, Christian Szilagyi, and Otto Gerstl Boys 200 Freestyle (5) - Robert Quan Girls 200 Freeystyle (5) - Allison Kopac Boys 200 IM (5) - Chris Kopac Boys 50 Freestyle (8) - Christian Szilagyi Boys 100 Freestyle (7) - Otto Gerstl Boys 500 Freestyle (7) - Robert Quan Boys 500 Freestyle (8) - Chris Kopac Girls 500 Freestyle (5) - Allison Kopac Girls 200 Freestyle Relay (4) - Macy Barmak, Morgan Greig, Hannah Ye, Allison Kopac Boys 400 Freestyle Relay (3) - Jacob Quan, Chris Kopac, Christian Szilagyi, Robert Quan   The complete results have been posted to RiversideRams.net. https://riversiderams.net/library/files/riversideathletics.bigteams_com_145966/files/2020-Class-5-State-Swim-Results.pdf ...
