Basketball Candidates:
I trust that everyone is working on their game, skills, strength and conditioning this summer when we don't have structured workouts. What you do on your own separates you / us form the competition.
It's important that we prepare for the upcoming season and try-outs. While participating in offseason activities does not guarantee a spot on the team or a certain level, it prepares everyone to have success this winter. We have started a tradition of having a very well attended fall program and need to keep that going. Regular attendance will be needed for anyone participating in fall shoot-outs as well as completed athletic forms and physical forms. We also need players, families and friends to help on every stadium clean-up night (attendance will be taken).
We are asking for players to sign-up for the August 14-15 free clinic at RVHS to help us plan. Heres the link:

Rams Hoops Fams:
?Since this is the 1st Friday night road trip and routines are being established, we're sending out a reminder about the team bus rules as there is a difference from school night games. Basically, everyone rides home together on bus on Fridays & non-school nights. Please see below from our team rules:
Bus Rides
Bus rides offer a great opportunity for team bonding, camaraderie, team unity and a time for the team debrief after the game. Players & managers must ride the bus to and from athletic contests. On school nights, JV & Fr may sign-out at the end of their game to go home with their parents providing they plan to leave before the end of the 1st quarter of the Varsity game and they prearrange this with the coach. As a general guideline for Varsity players when traveling on school nights to out of county games, a family may prearrange dismissal (at least a day before) with the coach. Athletes may not leave until the Coach is finished addressing team and there is verbal and visual contact between the parent and the coach. Everyone can ride home with the team on Friday nights or non-school nights (unless there is some special reason...family event, SAT’s).
