Dear Parents,

Last night I sent home a calendar for the next two weeks of football. We have a unique situation coming up and we anted to be prepared and ahead of it. With Daylight Savings, Field Hockey home play offs games, and F/JV last football game we have to move practice times around. I will put a printable calendar under TEAM FILES for Varsity Football so you can print it off for yourself if you need to. 

Also we are in a situation regarding our playoff seeding. We can still become the 2nd seed in the playoffs which would give us the 1st round BYE. On the calendar I have added two practice scenarios depending on which Seed we achieve. We wont know until all games are reported final on Friday, Nov. 8th after the Woodgrove game.

I know this can be a little confusing. If you have questions please reach out and ask. 

We are excited to invite you to our Riverside High School Baseball Golf Tournament Fundraiser, scheduled for Monday, November 4th at River Creek Club.  This fundraising event will bring everyone together to benefit the Riverside High School Baseball team.  

We need your help to make the tournament a success.  You can register to play on your own, or you can put together a team of your friends, colleagues, and/or golfing buddies!  You'll be able to enjoy a wonderful day on the greens, while helping provide support for Riverside High School's Baseball team.  Please note you must be 21 and over to play.

Dear Parents,

I wanted to give you a quick update and make sure you understand what your players are asking from you this evening.

Saturday, Aug. 10th we will  have practice from 9AM-Noon. Our scrimmage portion of practice will begin around 9:45am-10am and go to about 11:45am. Then we will feed our players with Manhattan Pizzas and waters. At noon our players will go out and sell our fundraising cards. Our team goal is to sell 1000 cards. Each player will be given 25 cards. If they sell all 25 they will make $100 cash that afternoon. We will put the kids into teams and they will compete as a team vs. their teammates.

Parents are more than welcome to come to the stadium and sit in the stands and watch their players compete. We will have music playing so just be aware. 

Monday, August 12th has a few things going on. Monday is picture day at 9am. You player was sent home with an order form for pictures. Please ask your player for that form, fill it out, put a check into it and send it with your player on Monday AM. We will hand out the uniforms for the players to wear. 

Also on Monday we will be doing our EteamSponsor fundraiser. This is a very well done email campaign that helps raise over $21,000 last year. I need your help this evening to help give your son 20 names and emails for us ot ask for donations. The form that your player was given today is due tomorrow AM. Also these donations are tax deductible.

Due to Friday, August 30th being a new holiday for Labor Day weekend we have moved our Week 1 game vs. Heritage to Thursday, August 29th.  I wanted to give you the football teams schedule for Labor Day Weekend so you can plan accordingly.

We need 6 parents to help put up and take down the inflatable helmet. If the weather cooperates I can get the helmet inflated and up ready for the game. We really need help each week taking it down at halftime and rolled into the garage. it is a about a 15 minute job right at halftime.

This has been mentioned before however no one has signed up as asked. It is critical that parents sign up for their time slot in the concession stand. If we as a football program can't volunteer then I will be forced to hand out the time slots in the concession stand.

We all must work together. We are ALL busy. We ALL must chip in and make our athletic programs successful.

Our first game is this Thursday and we don't have anyone manning the concessions. Freshman parents please sign up right away. There is a sign up on this website RiversideRams.net. You only need to sign up for one game each.
