In a change of scoring formats, Riverside Rams beat the Freedom Eagles 2-1 in a 9-hole four ball match play contest. Chad M. and Jack G. were 2-down with 2 to play and rallied on a clutch 12-ft birdie putt by Jack G. on 8 then a solid 2-putt par by Chad M. on 9 to end the match All Square and earn a half-point. Shreya G. and Kellen P. were back and forth through the entire match with their opponents but brought it to AS on 8 and held that through 9 to also earn a half-point. Earning the winning point for the match were Louie S. and Mason A. who went to hole 6 4-up and dormie and ended up winning the hole to close the match 5 and 3. The Rams improve to 3-1 in dual matches and play again on September 1st versus Broad Run. Go, Rams!
