CONFERENCE 28 QUARTERFINAL VS WILLIAM MONROE: 0
Riverside collected its first playoff win in a three set match against William Monroe. The Lady Rams tallied 35 kills, five solo blocks, three double blocks, and twelve aces in the night. Scores were 25-13, 25-15, and 25-22. Riverside got out to an early lead in set one and maintained throughout the end. The Rams and Dragons traded the lead early in set two before Riverside pulled away for the set. Set three was much closer with the Rams holding the lead until just shy of twenty points. From there the Rams and Dragons traded places before Riverside took the lead and closed out the match. Riverside will host Warren County on Wednesday in the semifinals of the Conference 28 Tournament. The winner of that match is guaranteed a bid to the Regional Tournament next week in addition to the chance to fight for the Conference Champion title.
