The Lady Rams were victorious in three sets tonight over Park View High School. As the match continued, Riverside continued to improve as scores were 25-22, 25-17, and 25-11. The Rams boasted 30 kills on the night, two solo blocks, two double blocks, and nine aces. The defense handled 16 attacks from the Patriots to set up our offense. The Rams started set one in the lead with only one brief exchange prior to regaining control for the remainder of the set. Riverside and Park View traded the lead in the early points of set two, but the Rams took control shortly after and never gave it back. Riverside jumped out to an early lead and maintained it to close out the match in set three. The Lady Rams host Rock Ridge on Thursday in their final regular season match. Thursday is also Riverside's Dig Pink night to raise money for the SideOut Foundation for breast cancer awareness. There will be lots of activities going on during course of the night, and all are encouraged to don their pink in support of the cause!
