In tonight's home match against the Loudoun Valley Vikings, the Rams fought hard but fell short 0-3. Set one was 16-25 with Loudoun Valley leading the majority of the set. The Rams drew even just passed the halfway point, but the Vikings pulled ahead with a couple long scoring runs. Set two was 18-25 with the Rams taking the lease briefly around the 10 point mark. In the final set, Riverside fell behind to start before momentarily taking the lead. Valley bounced back and went on a run the Rams didn't rebound from. Over the course of the night, the Lady Rams posted 27 kills, two solo blocks, one double block, and six aces. The defense dug up 33 attacksfrom the Vikings. Riverside hits the floor again tomorrow night when they host John Champe in the second game of their four game home series to close the regular season.
