The Riverside Rams returned home after a hard fought match against the Lady Raiders of Loudoun County. While the scores may show solid wins for County, Ram family, friends, and coaches could not have been prouder of the effort and determination every Riverside player exhibited during the match. Final scores were 13-25, 14-25, and 15-25. The Rams continued to battle and improve every set with phenomenal digs off big County hitters. The Rams tallied 16 kills, three assisted blocks, and one ace against the Raiders. Serve receive and setting aided the Rams in taking swings against a big Raider block. The scoreboard may not have indicated a win for the Rams, but the renewed spirits and fight tonight's match brought out in Riverside will certainly aid them in future matches. Riverside hits the floor again Thursday night as they host the Dominion Titans.
