The Rams returned home after a tough loss in four sets to the Pride of Heritage. In a loud and rowdy gym, the Rams and Pride battled with scores of 20-25, 27-25, 18-25, and 23-25. Despite the 32 kills, 5 assisted blocks, and 13 aces, the Rams fell short on the night. In set one, Riverside and Heritage traded the lead early on before the Pride took command for the second half of the set. The Rams led set two for the first half before Heritage took over. Late in the set, Heritage and Riverside traded the lead before the Rams came out victorious. Set three was dominated by Heritage, but the Rams battled back in set four to trade the lead several times with Heritage before the Pride closed out the set and match. Riverside hits the road again Monday to play Manassas Park.
