After a tough battle with John Champe, Riverside came up short in a 1-3 loss. Set one started with the Rams fighting their way back out of a self made deficit, but Riverside proved resilient as they took their momentum from the end of the first set loss (23-25) to break away in set two for a 25-18 win. Set three saw the tides turn again in favor of Champe with a score of Riverside 20, Champe 25. In a close final set, the Knights closed it out with a 28-26 victory over the Rams. The offense came from all directions with the Rams tonight as they showed how diverse the attacks can be. The net secured by six solo blocks and one double block. There were 44 assists leading to 44 kills and twelve aces on the night. The Rams travel to Heritage on Thursday in their next match.
