In their first ever home opener the Lady Rams defeated George Mason High School in three straight sets. The Rams jumped out to an early lead in the match with a resounding 25-11 win. Haley Schneider led the service efforts with eleven successful serves, six of which were aces. In a second set win of 25-21, Christianna Stephenson and Ashley Schaberg supplied three kills each. Capri Callis added three aces in set two as well. Set three took a turn in Riverside's favor with a final score of 25-13. Arden Barrett and Soraya Hayes tacked up seven successful serves a piece. Overall for the night, Christianna Stephenson led with seven kills, and Kendall Boxe tallied two big blocks. Loren Klass handled the vast majority of the serve receive in solid fashion to set up plays for kills. The Rams remain at home for Thursday's conference match up against Clarke County.
