Assistant Coach

Varsity Wrestling

We are excited to add Coach Reed to our wrestling staff this year. Coach Reed brings over 20 years of experience coaching multiple sports. As a wrestler, he wrestled for Falls Church High School, VA and was part of the State Runner up Team. He also had the opportunity to wrestle at George Mason University, which is a D1 wrestling program. He was a letterman in 3 sports in high school and college. Prior to joining the Riverside High School wrestling team, he coached the last 4 years with Tuscarora High School Wrestling team and coached three state placers and 8 state qualifiers.

Coach Reed is a graduate of Radford University. He comes from a wrestling family tradition, which includes 4 college wrestlers and an Olympic qualifier.

He works for Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, VA. Coach Reed has three sons, of which, two are part of the Riverside School Family: Teddy and Will. His oldest son Spencer was a state placer in 2016 for Tuscarora and currently wrestles for Wilkes University, Pennsylvania.
