Biography:

This is my fourth year working in LCPS as a Learning Specialist's Assistant at Riverside. I am a native of Leesburg and actually attended Heritage High School. Previously I was on the Varsity gymnastics team, all 4 years of my high school career, as well as having been in classes all through out my elementary, middle, and high school experience.  I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in History from Longwood University. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, and my little Orange kitty, Cheeto.

Biography:

This is my third year as head coach for the Riverside HS Varsity Gymnastics team, and I look forward to working with this group of gymnasts. Gymnastics has been a major part of my life since I was three years old. I was a competitive gymnast for 19 years, finishing off my gymnastics career at JMU on their Club Gymnastics Team where I was a two time national competitor.  

Before coming to Riverside, I was an assistant gymnastics coach at Briar Woods HS for the three seasons. In addition to coaching, I am a gymnastics official for VHSL during the winter season, and I teach 7th grade math at Mercer Middle School. 

I am truly enjoying being a part of the Riverside Ram community and am looking forward to a great upcoming gymnastics season!

Riverside High School announces the hiring of Ibsen Nogueira as head gymnastics coach. Mr. Ibsen Nogueira works to build and develop gymnastics programs at competitive and recreational levels, developing the Aerobic Gymnastics program with kids and adult athletes within the gyms throughout the USA.
Mr. Ibsen has a heavy experience in the gymnastics industry since his first years coaching gymnastics in Brazil. Among many positions within the Brazilian Gymnastics Federation he was the junior state team coach for artistic boys gymnastics; assistant coach of artistic and aerobic gymnastics in one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world (Sao Paulo Futebol Club – Sao Paulo/ Brazil).

Nowadays, he is the owner and head coach for the gymnastics programs of Gymnastics World in Woodbridge, VA.
