Biography:

Riverside High School announces the hiring of Caitlin Hunter as head varsity girls soccer coach. Caitlin has most recently worked as the head coach for varsity girls soccer at Park View High School in Sterling. Prior to coming to Park View she was the assistant coach at Division I Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Caitlin grew up in Loudoun County where she played for Broad Run High School. There she won back to back state championships, was a two time All-Met selection, and set all VHSL state records for goalkeeping. After high school she went on to play at the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she was a 4 year starter, won the schools first-ever CAA Championship, was a two time All-Conference Selection, two time All-Tournament Team selection, and holds several school records for goalkeeping. Caitlin is currently teaching Physical Education at Park View High School.

Riverside High School is pleased to announce Sarah Wetmore as head varsity girls basketball coach.  Currently a Health and Physical Education teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools at Trailside Middle School, she has a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Coaching Education from West Virginia University, as well as  a Bachelor of Arts in Education - Health and Physical Education from Shepherd University.  During her time at West Virginia University, she was a three year member of the Big East West Virginia Women’s Varsity Soccer team from 1996-99.  She was also a member of the Big East West Virginia Women’s Varsity Basketball team from 1999-2000.  As a former student of Loudoun County Public Schools, graduating from Loudoun Valley High School, she is excited to join Riverside High School and looks forward to a successful year at Riverside!  Let’s go Rams!

Assistant Varsity / Head JV Coach

Biography:
This will be Coach White's 3rd full season as Head Coach at Riverside after taking over the team midway through the first season. Before joining the program, Coach White most recently had worked as the Assistant coach for the Leesburg Football Club Crush, Girl’s Under-13 Travel Team. Prior to coaching in Leesburg, he coached a number of youth teams and was a mentor at summer camps throughout the area. Damien grew up playing soccer in West Virginia and was an All-State and All-Region player for Elkins High School. He was also a member of the North Central United Boy’s travel team as well as the Region-1 Olympic Develop Team. Damien played one year at WVU before retiring his boots in favor of classes and coaching. Damien is currently a School Counselor at Belmont Ridge Middle School.
