Riverside High School announces the hiring of Caitlin Hunter as head varsity girls soccer coach. Caitlin has most recently worked as the head coach for varsity girls soccer at Park View High School in Sterling. Prior to coming to Park View she was the assistant coach at Division I Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Caitlin grew up in Loudoun County where she played for Broad Run High School. There she won back to back state championships, was a two time All-Met selection, and set all VHSL state records for goalkeeping. After high school she went on to play at the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she was a 4 year starter, won the schools first-ever CAA Championship, was a two time All-Conference Selection, two time All-Tournament Team selection, and holds several school records for goalkeeping. Caitlin is currently teaching Physical Education at Park View High School.

During her time at West Virginia University, she was a three year member of the Big East West Virginia Women’s Varsity Soccer team from 1996-99. She was also a member of the Big East West Virginia Women’s Varsity Basketball team from 1999-2000.
