Coach Lyman here! I was a two time varsity XC runner and a collegiate national championship qualifier in triathlon all in the winter deficient state of Louisiana. I'm still just as active as ever through multisport training including running, swimming, cycling, and weightlifting. I also LOVE playing ultimate frisbee! This season I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with you all in the weight room through functional fitness routines designed specifically for you. See y'all out there!

Riverside High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Jake Brenner as head varsity track and field coach and assistant cross country coach.  A native Texan and graduate of Texas A&M, Coach Brenner began his coaching career at College Station Middle School where he coached football and track for three years.  After leaving Texas, he moved to The Netherlands, where he was the head middle school track coach for The American School of The Hague for three years.  After moving back to the U.S., he was the head Cross Country and Track Coach for East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC.  While at East Mecklenburg, Coach Brenner had over 12 athletes qualify for state in both cross country and track, including individual events as well as relays in track.  From Charlotte, Coach Brenner moved to Leesburg with his wife, Erin, and son, Henry.

Andrew Robertson is native of Central Pennsylvania were he attended Cedar Cliff HS in Camp Hill, PA. Before moving to Loudoun County, he worked for the Department of Defense in the Morale, Welfare & Recreation Department serving our countries serviceman & women. Coach Robertson was the Head Track & Field Coach at Park View HS (Sterling, VA) from 2011-2016, during that time he was also a part of the football program coaching varsity offensive & defensive lines as well as serving as Freshman Head Coach. Coach Robertson joined Riverside HS Football program in 2015 during the inaugural Season. Coach Robertson is the programs Defensive Line coach, coaching all levels. He joined the Riverside HS staff in 2016 as a Behavioral Assistant in The Intensive Program. Coach Robertson is also an Assistant Coach for the Riverside Track & Field Program coaching throws.  He lives in Berryville, VA with his wife Hayley and their two children Payton & Maddie, and their dog Rocky.  ?

I'm a "military brat" who has lived in cool places like California, New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Japan. My high school life consisted of cross country, track and field, and band (  I played the tuba). In college I majored in Kinesiology with a concentration in fitness and sports industry at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I also raced in local triathlons while I was there and even qualified to compete at the USAT Collegiate National Championship. I am currently working towards getting a teaching licenses to continue my work with individuals with Special needs through adaptive PE.

Coach Green graduated from Radford University and is a Loudoun County Public School Graduate! Coach Green ran track and field at Radford University. This is his second season coaching with the Rams! Prior to coaching at Riverside, Coach Green was a hurdles coach at John Champe High School.
